7. Analysis tools

Matomo (formerly Piwik)
We use web analysis service Matomo on our website to facilitate analysis of use of our website and to optimise the website on the basis of these findings. Matomo is provided by InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand. Matomo stores small cookies, known as text files, on your device for this purpose. These also permit recognition of your device from session to session, as the case arises. You can object to, and so prevent, cookies being placed on your browser by adjusting your settings. Consequently, depending on the circumstances, you may not be able to use all our website’s functions.

The information generated (URL requested, time, abbreviated IP address and approximate location of the requesting device, referring website, time spent browsing the website, operating system, browser, browser version and whether it is a repeat visit) is stored on our Matomo server and used for analysis. Your device’s IP address is only stored after being anonymised through abbreviation. The data collected is not passed to third parties.

8. Plugins and tools

Google Maps
The website uses Google Maps API in order to present geographical information visually. This is provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. During use of Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about visitors’ use of the map functions. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for more information about Google and data processing. You can also change your data protection settings in the Data Protection Centre there. This contains detailed information about managing your data in connection with Google products.

Google Webfonts
On this website we use script libraries and font libraries, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) to display our content correctly across browsers and in a graphically appealing manner. These are provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Webfonts are transferred to avoid multiple uploads into your browser’s cache. Content is displayed in a standard font if the browser doesn’t support Google Webfonts or prohibits access.

Downloading script libraries or font libraries automatically creates a connection to the library’s operator. It is theoretically possible that the operators of corresponding libraries collect data, although it is currently unclear whether they do and for what purposes.

Click here https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ for Google’s Privacy Policy.

9. Other transmission of data

We also transmit personal data on the basis of official and/or judicial instructions. No data is transmitted other than as described in this Data Protection Policy.

10. Amendment of our data protection provisions

We reserve the right to occasionally amend this Data Protection Policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements, or to implement changes to our services in the data protection policy, e.g. when we introduce new services. The new data protection policy will then apply the next time you visit.
